The Access Opportunity: A Working Session for Indiana’s Veterinary Profession

Access to veterinary care is one of the biggest opportunities in front of our profession today — not just in Indiana, but everywhere veterinary medicine is practiced. New models of care are emerging, technology is opening doors, and practices across the state are already finding creative ways to reach more clients and patients. Every veterinary professional in this state has a stake in this work, and this is a rare chance to tackle it together, in the same room, with the people who can move it forward. That’s what this year’s CRVC general session is built to do. This interactive keynote session moves straight into two rounds of structured table discussions. In each round, you will pick one of four topics of discussion that matter most to you — telehealth and alternative care delivery, technician utilization and scope of practice, rural and geographic coverage, or cost and affordability of care. Leave each round with a concrete first step, not just another list of problems. This session is IVMA’s commitment to being more than a place that talks about the profession’s issues — it’s where those issues get worked on.
