The IVMA is an essential resource for questions and concerns regarding all aspects of the veterinary profession - all by calling 317.974.0888 or info@invma.org.
Legislation is monitored and lobbying is provided by a professional governmental relations advocate who represents the voice of veterinary medicine in Indiana. IVMA monitors legislation concerning all aspects of veterinary medicine that may affect your practice and the veterinary profession.
Programs are provided by nationally known speakers and commercial and scientific exhibits with current and useful information for veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and students, which can directly benefit your practice. Self-study library with 12 hours of complimentary CE.
Among the many member resources for IVMA members, the PowerUp Membership Assistance Program is designed to help with all kinds of life situations: Legal Questions, Financial Situations, Marital Difficulties, Parenting Stress, Relationship Issues, Depression, Alcohol and Drug Use Abuse, Grief and Loss, and other difficulties veterinarians may face.
Volunteer on a task force or working group to connect with colleagues and move IVMA forward with the goal of being the best place to practice veterinary medicine in the country.
IVMA connects with the Indiana animal industry, through the Board of Animal Health, the IN-Ag Resource Council, the Board of Veterinary Medicine, the State Veterinarian, and Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine.
IVMA also focuses on such events as the Indiana State Fair, and offers tools for members to promote the profession.
