The College of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University (PVM) invites applications for a part-time emergency critical care clinician for the Emergency Service at Purdue University Veterinary Teaching Hospital.  The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment facilities.

Candidates must have a DVM or equivalent degree from an AVMA accredited school. Candidates must be eligible for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Indiana.  Experience in an emergency practice is desirable.  The successful candidate will be primarily involved in providing service, but may become involved in ongoing clinical research.  The clinical teaching of veterinary students, interns, and residents is a component of this position.

Candidates must demonstrate a sincere interest in providing outstanding clinical service, must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to effectively supervise hospital staff.  Salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience. FACE Low-Cost Animal Clinic (FACE) is interviewing for a new part-time veterinarian to practice in our fast-paced medical and vaccine clinic.

FACE is Indianapolis’ nonprofit, low-cost animal clinic.  Our mission is simple:  end euthanasia of cats and dogs in Indianapolis by offering accessible spay/neuter, vaccination, medical care and community cat care, without financial or geographic restrictions.

Since opening in 1999, FACE has performed more than a quarter of a million spay/neuter surgeries, which has contributed to a 90% reduction of euthanasia in our community. Every year, more than 10,000 patients count on FACE for affordable spay/neuter services and more than 17,500 visits are made to our vaccine and medical clinic.

We support our veterinarians by providing flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and contributions to continuing education.

No emergency duty required.
