The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team – this will be an interactive workshop for veterinarians wanting to improve their team’s effectiveness and productivity through the understanding and application of The Five Behaviors™: Trust, Conflict, Commitment, Accountability, and Results.
Based on The New York Times best-selling author Patrick Lencioni’s book, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team. We will look at additional obstacles to effective communication individually and on teams such as setting healthy boundaries, saying no and exploring the reasons we do not, giving effective feedback, and learning to better engage in healthy conflict.

This workshop will explore what it takes to develop, maintain, and inspire wellbeing in yourself, your team, and the veterinary profession. Through evidence based research, short educational video, and self reflection, participants will assess their own wellbeing practices and make a plan for adjusting them in ways that will serve themselves and others in promoting a healthy profession.
The workshop will begin with the evidence for why veterinarians may be at risk for poor wellbeing and will end with hopeful, small and practical actions steps for one’s self and one’s team that will make a big difference.
